Mild, artificial smell with a hint of neem
Texture and Consistency:
This review is based upon my oily, acne prone, sensitive and problematic skin. My mother has also used this product along with me and she has oily skin too. We both have nearly the same opinion about this product, so here my review goes. Starting off with the smell, I’d say it is fine, mild and does not bother my sensitive nose but it is not very identical to neem and has a slight artificial tint to it.
The consistency of this face wash is medium which is easy to work with. Just a pea sized amount quantity is required per application. The formulation of the face wash is quite gentle and doesn’t irritate my skin in any way. The color of the face wash is turquoise which looks beautiful but again looks artificial. If it was green in color, it would’ve matched Neem variant even more.
This face wash turns into a light, foaming lather upon its incorporation with water. I make sure to massage my skin with gentle, upwards, circular motions. Since it is an ayurvedic formulation, it does not cause any problem to my skin in any way but doesn’t have a balanced pH. This causes irritation if the face wash accidentally gets into the eye.
Due to neem as its key ingredient, it works wonderfully in treating and controlling acne. It keeps the natural oil of the skin quite balanced and doesn’t make it dry at all. There is no sort of itching or inflammation. It reduces the pimple size within three uses and makes the skin feel soothed and relaxed.
It makes the skin look cleaner, more even toned and nourished. On regular usage, it reduces and treats acne and keeps the skin blemishes free.
