Texture and Consistency:
This face mask has a bouncy texture with a thick consistency.
My Experience with Skin Salad Charcoal Face Mask:
Starting off with the smell of this product, I’d say it is quite refreshing and mild. It does not irritate my sensitive nose at all. Secondly, I love the concept of just investing three minutes to get a deeply cleansed skin. To my surprise, I haven’t seen such a texture in any face mask yet. It is very bouncy and cushion-like. I certainly enjoy applying it.
Furthermore, the consistency, although thick, is easy to spread and work with. The Skin Salad Charcoal Face Mask has got medium sized exfoliating granules in it. Also, they are gentle on the skin and not abrasive at all. Moreover, I use my fingers to apply this mask as it feels better and easier. The mask gets spread evenly and easily.
It also soothes the skin after applying but doesn’t feel very cool. Further, it makes me feel refreshed and I let it be there on my skin for exactly three minutes. Then, I slightly wet my face and gently start exfoliating my skin in circular, upwards motions.
The scrubbing granules do not hurt me in any way. They do not irritate my skin either. After around one minute of exfoliating, I rinse the mask off. The skin looks instantly more cleansed and nourished. It also doesn’t disturb the natural oil balance of my skin. The mask also doesn’t make my skin dry at all. Instead, it makes it hydrated yet firm.
It removes all impurities, excess oil, dirt and grime pretty effectively. The exfoliation granules work pretty well in removing the dead skin cells and blackheads. The skin looks much clear, soft and better after using it. Since it has tea tree oil, it not only calms down the skin but also works on reducing and preventing acne.
Charcoal works very well in deep cleansing and reducing acne spots, blemishes and discoloration of the skin. Overall, my skin feels very pampered after using this mask. On regular usage, it certainly reduces discoloration and evens out the skin tone. It works on making the skin look more cleansed and rejuvenated.
