Review: Richfeel Conditioner

Hi Guys! I hope you’re doing good…

Today I am going to share my review about Richfeel Conditioner for you all.. I recently reviewed Richfeel Shampoo with Arnica as well which is meant to treat and prevent dandruff.. Richfeel was founded in 1986 by two Dr. Apoorva Shah and Dr. Sonal Shah, India’s first certified trichologists who are experts in the areas of hair, scalp and skin care. Trichology is the medical term for the study of the hair (and scalp) and all problems related to them, so a ‘trichologist’ is someone who specialises in hair loss problems such as baldness, hair breakage and itchy/flaking scalp..*

This conditioner is meant for all types of hair and claims to help hair remain soft and silky. It is available in two quantity options viz. 100 gms and 500 gms just like the Arnica Shampoo.. This review is based upon my thin-fine, straight, silky hair with an oily scalp. If you want to know how it performed on me and what my final thoughts about it is then please keep on reading..

Product Description: Richfeel Hair Conditioner is specially formulated to keep hair soft and silky.

*Suitable for all hair types
*Makes hair soft and silky

How to Use: Apply the Richfeel Conditioner after shampooing hair with Richfeel Shampoo. Wait for 2-3 minutes & then rinse with water.

Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Light Liquid Paraffin, Polyquaternium 7, Cetyl Alcohol, Panthenyl Hydroxypropyl Steardimonium Chloride, Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose, Preservatives & EDTA Salt.

Cost: Rs. 210 for 100 gm

Shelf Life: 3 years

Availability: Richfeel Website (100 gm), Amazon (100 gm), Nykaa (Both Sizes), Purplle (100 gm), HomeShop18 (100 gm), Flipkart (100 gm)

Packaging: This conditioner comes in a black colored, glossy squeezable tube with a flip cap. The cap locks perfectly without creating any mess and the tube is really soft which helps in exudating the product easily. The back side of the tube has all the necessary details mentioned on it.

The overall packaging is nice, sturdy and mess proof. The tube is quite large which a lot of people may not find ideal for travelling but I think its completely fine and can be transferred in to a smaller container while travelling..

Smell: Mild, floral, pleasant

Texture and Consistency: This is a white colored pack conditioner which is quite rich in texture and has a thick consistency just like mostly all the conditioners..

My Experience: This conditioner is actually very creamy and thick and I like its floral fragrance which hardly lasts for a minute or two.. First I squeeze all the excess water from my hair after shampooing and let them dampen up a little bit. Then I take a small quantity of this conditioner into my palm and gently apply it to the length of my hair focusing towards the end.

I leave it for around three minutes as suggested and then work through my hair using my fingers. It has a rich and thick texture but is not extremely smooth on application and literally sinks into the strands real quick, so I try to work with small amount of product on different strands.. Then I rinse my hair thoroughly with normal water and hop out of the shower.

When I used it for the first time, I actually applied it with the Richfeel Shampoo and found that my hair which are generally very soft and silky were little dried out. When I tried it for the second time with another shampoo, it worked quite well.. It detangles the hair strands nicely and prevent them from detangling again. It also makes my already very soft hair soft and straight but I somehow feel that its formula is not the smoothest you could find.

It does add a volume to the hair which I really like because I have thin-fine hair but people with very dry or frizzy hair may not choose it to be used on a daily basis. I prefer it on special occasions when I like to have more volume in my hair and it keeps them straight and manageable..

Pros of Richfeel Conditioner:
*Not tested on Animals
*Adds volume to hair
*Makes hair straight and soft
*Detangles well
*Very mild, floral fragrance
*Sturdy packaging
*Ingredients list mentioned
*Prevents hair from detangling again
*Makes them straight and manageable
*Sinks into hair very quickly

Cons of Richfeel Conditioner:
*Makes hair little dry
*Does not make hair silky

Will I repurchase it?
Yes. If you guys know how disheartened I was when I shared my review about the Oriflame Sweden Hair X Volume Boost Leave-in Conditioner, you would know how much I literally crave for voluminuous hair. Obviously we all lust for what we don’t have..

This conditioner has worked quite well for me in terms of conditioning my hair, making them soft, manageable and straight. I actually like it and would definitely repurchase it once I finish it.

Will I recommend it?
Yes. If you also share same hair type as me and want to make your hair look voluminous, go ahead and try this conditioner. No matter what you hair type is, I wouldn’t really recommend using it with the Richfeel Shampoo because the combo makes the hair very dry.

If you have very frizzy or dry hair, you may not like it but if you have soft, silky and thin hair, go ahead and purchase this one. It will sort your volume issues without being harsh..

Is it worth the price?
Yes. The quality is overall nice and works for me, so I find it worth the price.

My Ratings: 4/5

Final Verdict: Overall, this is a good volume boosting pack conditioner without getting harsh on the hair. It is little drying but nothing too crazy or disappointing.. It works well in conditioning the hair, making them feel soft, detangling the strands and thus preventing hair fall..

  1. Your review is very informative! This conditioner seems fine but the shampoo isn’t that good if it dries hair out. We have the same hair type 😉

    1. Yes Mariyam 🙂 Even I like the conditioner more than the shampoo but it is quite effective in dandruff….

  2. Love your detailed review. I have once tried their henna powder and it was quite good.

  3. Though I have a bit of frizzy hair, I don’t mind the volume part. I’m gonna give this a try as I was looking a good hair conditioner.

Your reviews always make me shop and I never regret buying them! Thanks love for your honest reviews.

    1. Awwwwwwwww….I’m literally smiling at the moment dear… It means a lot to me… Thanks a lot for showing so much love and trust on me ❤?

  4. Never tried any Richfeel products. This seems good. But I have very dry hair. Am not sure if it will work for me. Btw, if you want voluminous hair try using castor oil. I too have fine, limp hair. I have recently started using it by mixing some with my regular hair oil and it shows great result. I don’t use conditioner too, only a moisturizing shampoo 🙂

    1. Wow Archana.. Thanks for letting me know.. I’ll definitely try it out… I have used castor oil to treat hair thinning at my hairline and it helped miraculously but never used it for volume…
