Review: L’Oreal Paris Tint Caresse “Plum Blossom”

Hi Guys.. I’m really excited to share another guest contribution by Khushboo Wase on my blog. Last time she shared her review about Just Herbs Advanced Ayurvedic Pimple Treatment Face Pack but this time we both wanted to do something on Makeup and L’Oreal Paris Tint Caresse, world’s first powder lipstick is just the perfect choice!
If you know me enough, you would know that I love lipsticks, lip tints, lip colors and lip glosses to bits… The idea of lip powder is just so versatile and experimental as it can be worn alone or to intensify our lipstick shade or to get a desired lip color or just to create ombre and many other things.. I love the soft cushion applicator this product has and would do another post on Ombre Tutorials and other ways you could use it such as on eyes and cheeks. For more about this product, keep on reading Khushboo’s review till the end..

Khushboo’s Review:

Hi Everyone,
L’Oreal Paris has recently launched their Tint Caresse range with eight beautiful stunning shades viz. Plum Blossom, Lily Blossom, Rose Blossom, Tulip Blossom, Orchid Blossom, Peach Blossom, Peony Blossom and Sakura Blossom.
Today I am reviewing L’Oreal Paris Powder Lipstick in shade Plum Blossom with you all. I’ve got “Orchid Blossom” with me as well which I will review soon..
Product Description and Benefits: L’Oreal Makeup Designer/ Paris unveils a new line of lip gradation cushions infused with tints from the most refined blend of precious flowers – Blossom Tint Caresse. Nail the ombré trend on your lips using its expert applicator with soft cushion tip that lightly blends in the colour. The designer sponge tip is pointed at the end for precise application, ideal for shaping and smudging.
Developed with a mix of nourishing flower oils and powdered pigments, the Blossom Tint Caresse delivers vibrant colour payoff in a soft, velvety matte finish that feels weightless and is non-drying on the lips. The long-lasting and transfer-proof formula is also a great multi-tasker that works as an eyeshadow or blush!

Experience using L’Oreal Paris Tint Caresse : Plum Blossom

{Packaging} L’Oreal Paris Tint Caresse comes in a sleek, beautiful long tube in a metallic finish. The tube is color-coded and has a gold ombre look. All the other product related information like ingredients and other details is provided on a plastic wrap. It has a pointed sponge tip applicator which helps to define the lips nicely. The sponge is good enough and blends the lip colour evenly on the lips. The overall packaging is chic and classy.

{Overall Thoughts} I can easily create an ombre look with this lipstick. It is so easy to apply. It went on so smoothly. You can count on it being transfer-proof because of its matte finish. It didn’t feel like I was wearing anything on my lips.

{Advice} Always exfoliate your lips if you applying matte lipstick. This is perfect for girls out there who are looking for a lightweight lip colour.

{Texture} The texture is just like that of a soft powder. It glides on very well and glides smoothly on the lips. It does not feel heavy at all and is super comfortable to wear.

{Pigmentation and Smell} It doesn’t feel like drying on the lips but doesn’t provide sufficient hydration to dry lips. It might highlight dry patches too and looks more like a natural lip stain. The formula is smudge proof, transfer proof and waterproof as well. It has mild-fruity fragrance.

{Staying Power} The staying power is good. It stayed on my lips for 5 to 6 hours.
It starts to fade after a certain time and then, it leaves behind a beautiful stain, which lasts longer, too. It is very easy to remove this lipstick and it never settles into fine lines.

The shade, “Plum Blossom” is a beautiful plum shade which will suit all Indian skin tone. I just love this shade. It brightens my face and looks gorgeous. The shade is well pigmented.
I can build up the shade easily and it provides a good coverage as well. L’Oreal claims that it is a 3-in-1 product, and thus, it can be used as a blusher and eye shadow as well.

As a blusher, it blends super smoothly on the cheeks and the formula is perfect for face, too. It never feels greasy on the face, which is an added benefit for oily skinned beauties. It provides a soft matte finish, which lasts longer, too.  As an eye shadow, it works very well. Overall I am very happy with this lipstick.
