Hi Guys!! I hope you all are doing good..

I am back with another review about a Lass Naturals product and this time it is their Neem Basil Face Wash. If you follow me on Instagram, you would know what the current situation of my skin looks like but if you don’t, let me tell you.. I am suffering from really bad and painful acne which look disgusting. I was really really low when I suddenly got a major breakout but what kept me a little relaxed was that I had a natural, cruelty free, “Neem-Basil” face wash with me. Thank God they sent me their products on the right time…

Lass Naturals is a brand that offers skin and hair care products which are free from all harsh toxic synthetic chemicals and therefore suitable for all skin types. If interested, you can find their wide range of cruelty free products here… I have already reviewed the Himalaya Neem Face Wash on this blog and if you have already read it, you would know how beautifully Neem suits my oily, acne prone and sensitive skin. Since this face wash is a soap free one which claims to balance the oil and reduce pimple, it had already formed a nice impression on me and I got quite assured before even using it. Please keep on reading this post till the end to find out whether this Neem and Basil combination worked for my stubborn, problematic skin or not..

Packaging: This face wash comes in a transparent, plastic bottle and has a semi transparent, flip cap which locks pretty well. The bottle is compact, light weight, travel friendly, sturdy and leak proof. The bottle is made up of quite hard quality which initially made me really annoyed because I couldn’t squeeze the product out effortlessly but I came to know that every bottle has a secret of squeezing. There is a press or weak point and you need to press it from there and the product shall come out very easily. In this case, that weak point is in the middle of front label (where product name and brand name is mentioned) and back label (directions and other information are mentioned)..

Smell: Mild, Herbacious

Texture and Consistency: This face wash has a gel like texture and has a tint of light green color in it while the consistency is more towards a runny side.My Experience: Since I have excessively oily, acne prone and sensitive skin, I always look forward to face washes or even other products that are mild, gentle and cruelty free. This face wash is “soap-free” and foams very mildly but eliminates all the dirt and oil from the skin very effectively. I actually take a little amount of product on my palm and gently massage it into my wet face. It does not turn into a creamy or thick foaming lather but is enough to work smoothly on my skin’s surface. Trust me when I say this, you will never find a face wash as slippery as this one.. It feels so so so smooth and slippery when I rinse it off that I can’t mention enough. What I don’t like about it is the fact that its pH is not balanced which stings really badly if it gets into the eyes accidentally. I have to be extra careful with it when I am massaging it near my eye area.

It has a herbacious smell of Neem and Basil which I quite like and it gets off as soon as I wash it off. It works really well in removing the oil and dirt and cleansing my facial pores. This is the first face wash I have used that not just claims to tighten pores but actually does it which is amazing because open pores are one of the biggest reasons of getting acne. Although I cannot see it eliminating the bacteria from my face but I am sure it does because it starts working on reducing the inflammation and redness caused by the pimples from day one and dries them up.

I want to review this from my mom’s experience as well because we share the same skin type and she just loves the result and effectiveness of this face wash. It is really gentle, controls excessive oil and prevents the recurrence of pimples in her case. I wouldn’t say that it has completely got rid of my acne problem because acne is not just about the products you use but depends on a lot of other factors like our diet, heredity, stress, fatigue etc but it has worked nicely on my mother’s skin. It controls the oil on my face for a really long time and makes it soothed and soft. After using it on a regular basis, I can definitely say that it has worked really well in treating my current acne without drying the skin at all and prevents them to a great extent.

Will I recommend it?

Is it worth the money?
