Hi Guys! I hope you’re doing good..

Today I am going to review one another soap from Curie India and it is their Coffee Swirl Soap.. Coffee if you don’t know is like my obsession.. I love it’s smell, it’s taste and anything that has coffee in it.. As I have already mentioned in my previous reviews that I don’t use soaps a lot but whenever I use them, it has to be a gel based formulation.

This particular soap bar is not gel based but trust me, I forgot all my “terms and conditions” about using soaps when I came across this one because I freakin’ love coffee’s alluring smell it has.. As I already mentioned I love coffee, this soap also has a beautiful heart shape but nothing like this matters if a product does not work as claimed.. If you are also a coffee lover like me and are thinking about trying this soap, please keep on reading this post till the end.

Also, I’d like to mention that the pros and cons of this product will only be judged on the basis of its performance and other important factors. I will not review it on basis of the fact that soaps harbour bacteria because that is what all soaps basically do.

Product Description: Amazing benefits of coffee soap on skin: Loading up skin with the antioxidants in coffee protects your skin and boost its natural defences. It protects against harsh sun rays: UVB is harmful and may lead skin diseases.

According to studies, caffeine actually inhibits the DNA damage response, thus protecting skin against the adverse effects of UVB. It makes skin smooth and bright: Because of its qualities that signal tissue repair, coffee helps in cell re-growth, leading to retained hydration and increased skin elasticity.

Shelf Life: 12 months

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Glycerine, Stearic Acid, Aqua, Coffee, Propylene Glycol, Vit E, Perfume, Permitted Colour Packaging: This soap comes in an eco friendly, cardboard box which has the brand’s logo at the top and other important details mentioned at the bottom. The box has a nice quality and once you unbox it, the soap is carefully kept inside it.

The quality and size of the box is quite good and the soap fits inside properly. The soap is cling wrapped and a little product description is mentioned at the bottom..

The soap as you can see has a heart shape and is a typical cream based saponified product like all usual soaps.. I don’t exactly know how to describe but it is not a gel based one.. It is like a novely soap which is good for the kids as well and amuses the person using it in addition to cleaning the dirt and grime from the body.. The heart shape is cute, the size is neither too big nor too small and has a combination of two colors…

Smell: Amazing smell of Coffee, not overpowering.

My Experience: This review is based upon my oily, acne prone and sensitive skin.
As it is a coffee soap and I think I mentioned it a zillion times but I’d like to rave about its smell again.. It smells exactly like coffee and looks really beautiful. It forms a quite good foaming lather and once you incorporate it into your wet loofah, it turns into a very rich and creamy lather just like the Pondโ€™s White Beauty Daily Spot Less Lightening Facial Foam..

I feel very refreshed when I take a shower or wash my face with it because I love its smell. My mother hates soaps which have a strong scent because no matter how much ventilation your bathroom has, it gets suffocated after a steamy bath and the smell really gets overpowering.

It dissolves quite quickly but what I love about it is that it remains a heart shaped one till the end unlike other soaps that come back to a normal, oval shape after a few uses.. The quality of this soap is really really good and does not irritate my sensitive skin at all.. It’s size, smell, lather and gentleness makes it perfect to be used on a baby’s skin as well..

My three year old nephew loves it and is always looking for an excuse to take a shower with this soap.. Since it’s pH is balanced, it does not sting the eyes at all and makes it even nicer for kids. It claims to protect your skin against harsh sun rays which obviously cannot be seen but is definitely a pro.

It does not cause any pimples or breakouts on my problematic skin. Also it does not irritate my tender nose at all and the formulation is not at all harsh. It doesn’t strip the natural oils of my skin at all even though it is not a gel based one and keeps it nourished instead..

It makes my skin very soft, supple and smooth. When I rinse it off, it is a really smooth experience and I feel like I have taken a shower with milk. It gets rid of all the dead and dull skin without being merciless at all. On regular usage, it does make the skin cleaner, softer, even toned and increases the hydration of the skin.

Will I repurchase it?
Yes. First I am in love with how this soap looks and how mesmerizing it’s smell is. I also like it’s packaging, formulation, hydration and result.. It suits my acne prone skin quite well and makes it very soft. The formula is very gentle which neither irritates my existing acne nor leads to more breakouts. It is a gentle soap perfect to be used on a daily basis, even by kids.

Will I recommend it?
Yes. This soap works just as claimed without being harsh on the skin and I will definitely recommend you to try it, especially for your kids… They will love it and will literally find an excuse to hop in the shower and smell this bad boy..

Is it worth the price?
Yes. Since it works just as claimed, feels so good on the skin and smells lovely, it is fully worth the price according to me..

My Ratings: 5/5

Final Verdict: Overall, it is a very yummy kind of soap which obviously I can’t eat but I want to.. It has a power of glycerin and oils which keeps the skin hydrated and makes it really very smooth. It is very friendly towards the skin and does not make it unhappy in any way. I love the fragrance to bits and find the packaging very classy as well. I think it is a great gifting option especially for kids or people who love coffee..
