Hi Guys!! I hope you all are doing good..

Yesterday I reviewed Olivia Kajal Stick for you all and today I am here with my review about Olivia Powder Compact. This compact comes in five different shades and is a very affordable option if you are on a low budget.

A compact not only gives matte finish to our makeup and prevents it from settling down into fine lines but also gives a beautiful air-like look to the face. Some compact powders can also be applied alone over a tined moisturiser along with a lip balm and mascara and you’re good to go.

If you are interested in knowing how this compact worked for me, then please keep on reading this post till the end. I have also reviewed Oriflame Sweden Pure Color Pressed Powder, so don’t forget to check it out..

This oil-free powder does not clog pores, absorbs excess oil and clearly helps improve the quality and healthy look of your skin. Packaging: This powder compact comes in an outer carton which has all necessary product details mentioned on it.

The actual compact pan is made up of a purple colored, glossy plastic with a golden rim around it’s edges. The shape of the pan is different than most of the compact powders that usually come in a circular shape.

A sturdy mirror, big enough to be used is attached inside the pan. A felt powdered puff of good quality that picks up quite a lot of product in one go has also been given inside.

Smell: Floral

My Shade: Natural Ivory, 01

My Experience:

I have a very oily skin and cannot finish my makeup without compact powders. This is an oil free pressed powder which sets the makeup quite well. The puff given inside does not absorb a lot of product, hence preventing product wastage.

It is quite pigmented, so I like to use the puff when I need a little coverage. When I use it to set my makeup, I usually take a brush. It absorbs excess oil from my face and makes it look matte.

It makes the makeup skin smooth blurring out fine lines. It does not accentuate pores or smile lines. It also avoids clogging of skin pores as well. It has a mild floral smell which may be an issue to some sensitive noses but I don’t mind it.

It does not look patchy on the skin at all and makes it look even. It prevents excess oil from secreting to a great extent and keeps the makeup in place. It does not have any hint of chunky shimmer particles in it unlike many other compacts available in the market which I love.

For such a low price, it’s quality is justified enough. It is really good and does not go very chalky on the face. It does not leave a ghost face flashback on face but needs touch ups after few hours. The packaging is very sturdy, does not break on dropping down and is travel friendly.

Pros of Olivia Powder Compact:

*Absorbs oil pretty well
*Nicely pigmented
*Not very chalky in formulation
*Good quality mirror and puff
*Sturdy packaging
*Does not break if dropped
*Available in five different shades
*Not uncomfortable to wear in any way
*Very easily available at cosmetic stores
*Travel friendly

Cons of Olivia Powder Compact:

*Only key ingredients list mentioned

Will I purchase it?
Yes. This is a strong competition to many other compact powders in the market. It works pretty well in setting makeup and blurring out fine lines.

Will I recommend it?
Yes. You must try it out, especially if you are on a low budget. The quality is not at all cheap and absorbs oil very quickly.

Is it worth the money?
Yes. First of all, I love it’s pricing which is so justified by it’s quality and staying power. Secondly, it’s completely worth the money because it works just as claimed.

My Ratings: 4.8/5

Final Verdict: Considering it’s price point, I must say this is a very good product. It’s not only budget friendly but also skin friendly. It works just as claimed & absorbs oil very quickly without irritating the skin or clogging the pores. It has a very light weight texture and does not look chalky on face.
