Review and Unboxing: My Envy Box – May 2018

Hi Guys!! I hope you all are doing good… Today I am going to unbox and review My Envy Box May 2018 Edition for you all.

Last month, I was very impressed by their Beauty Box as they had sent five products worth Rs. 3000. This time again, they have come up with five products which have some really impressive claims and ingredients list.

In case you don’t know, My Envy Box has two kinds of subscription boxes each month, i.e. Jewelry Box and Beauty Box. What I am going to unbox for you today is their May Beauty Box – Resort Edition. If you are interested in knowing what all I have got in this month’s box, the subscription plans, my overall experience, and recommendation, then please keep on reading this post till the end.

Current Subscription Plans:

One Month – Rs. 850

Three Months – Rs. 2250

Six Months – Rs. 4350

One Year – Rs. 8500

Packaging of the Box:

As always, the box comes in a white colored outer cardboard box to keep it safe and secure. The actual box looks very cool as it gives holiday vibes. This month’s box is a Resort Edition and has a beach theme going all over with starfish, rocks, shells etc making the background very cool and summer like. As always, the brand’s logo is printed at the center and has a magnetic lock system which I love and will definitely reuse like I do every month. All the products were securely kept in hay and were seal packed which did not allow any sort of leakage or mess.

Inside My Envy Box May 2018 Edition:

As you open the box, you see a leaflet kept on top which says “Resort Edition – MAY BEAUTY BOX”.

Here is the close-up of that leaflet which has the pricing and important details of the contents of the box.

Next up, we have another leaflet which is by a very renowned and promising brand – “Kronokare”. This leaflet has a coupon code of Rs. 200 off on their Sun Shield Face Sunscreen and also gives a good detail about sun protection, harmful effects of UV rays on the skin and some do’s and don’ts. Here is the closeup of this leaflet as well.

Here we go with all the products one by one.

1. ELENBLU – Liquid Eyeliner

Cost: Rs. 499 for 2.5 ml

Product Description and Claims:

My Thoughts:

I am new to this brand and I always feel happy and excited when I come across new brands in subscription boxes. This eyeliner looks like Oriflame – THE ONE Wonder Liner but has a very fine, precise tip unlike the former. It is in the shade “Ebony Black” and has a permanent marker like smell to it. I am yet to give it a try and see how it works for me but I am definitely impressed by its tip, shape and claims.

2. PLUMP – Vitamin C Serum

Cost: Rs. 950 for 50 ml

Product Description and Claims:

My Thoughts:

Again, I am new to this brand but Vitamin C serums and creams are my favorite. They work wonders for the skin, especially mine and keep as many problems away as possible. This serum is free from parabens and sulfates and is also against animal testing. It comes in a dark colored, glass bottle to prevent light oxidation and a dropper with a golden rim.

The bottle looks classic and I think this is probably a full size product. It has a lovely citrus-like scent to it which I cannot resist putting on my face. On top of that, I am very impressed by its formulation as it is very lightweight, non-greasy and comfortable to put on.

3. PLANT MAGIK – Natural Hair Vitalizer

Cost: Rs. 900 for 100 ml

Product Description and Claims:

My Thoughts:

Whenever I receive a lot of new brands in any of my subscription boxes, I get really really happy. This third brand is again new to me and I can’t wait to see how it performs on me because it is a hair product and I am a hair care junkie too. I love my hair and try to take good care of them as much possible. In this weather, I am often worried by scalp irritation and this baby claims to get rid of scalp infections and itching.

Since it is a non-sticky leave on oil, I know I am going to use it every single day. Well, I put on two drops on my palm right now, massaged it in between and applied it through the length of my hair. I am impressed by its-sticky formula and love the fact that it instantly tames down hair frizz without making them look oily or greasy.

Plant Magik has an offer going on as well which is valid till 31st July 2018. They are giving a flat 20% off on Natural Hair Vitaliser on using the coupon code “GIFTBOX01”.

4. KRONOKARE – Sun Shield Face Sunscreen

Cost: Rs. 895 for 55 ml

Product Description and Claims:

My Thoughts:

I am not new to Kronokare but I am definitely new to this product. I have already reviewed their Pollu Stop Face Mist on this blog and you guys know how much I loved it. Since I have a very sensitive and problematic skin type, sunscreens are literally my savior and I can’t skip them at any cost. A face sunscreen with SPF 50, that too by one of my most trusted brands is already a winner for me. This product comes in a plastic bottle with a sturdy pump dispenser.

It has a very light weight, creamy texture and smells like some sort of milk based skin cleanser. I definitely love the texture and consistency and am impressed by the fact that it does not feel uncomfortable or heavy on the skin. It is free from Paraben, Sulphate, Silicone and Mineral Oil.

5. COCCOON – InstaLift Wrinkle Filler with Vitamin A

Cost: Rs. 999 for 20 gm

My Thoughts:

I have received Coccoon Eternal Youth Serum in one of my earlier My Envy Box and seemed to love it. Since the packaging of both of these products look the same, at first I misunderstood this product to be the same Youth Serum and decided to give it to someone. I got really impressed and shocked when I read that it was a new product. My hunt for new and promising products is never ending and this is another gem in my crown.

Now I can’t really understand why this product is not listed in the leaflet. Maybe it is a surprise product and varies in all boxes. I don’t know what it is but I am so thankful that I received this product. My mom, aged 44 years old, looks young but needs products like this to maintain her natural beauty and keep her skin wrinkle-free.

I’ll give it to her and review it based on her experience and opinion. It is dermatologically approved and clinically tested. I hope this works amazingly for my mother as it claims to be a really promising product.

My Final Verdict about the Box:

Overall, this month’s box is a major hit for me as I got to come across three new brands and five amazing, luxury products. The total worth of this month’s box sums up to Rs. 4,243 in just Rs. 850 which is a steal deal. Most of all, I am excited to try Plump Vitamin C Serum and see if it helps in lightening my acne scars and reducing my skin’s pigmentation.

This post is not at all sponsored but if you are also impressed like me, go and grab this box as soon as possible because you shouldn’t miss out on these amazing products at all.

Will I recommend it?

Oh, of course! I am totally in love with the contents of the box. Hence, I will definitely recommend you all to give My Envy Box May 2018 Edition a try. A big fat thumbs up to My Envy Box designing team for curating such a worthy and classic box for us.

My Ratings: 5/5
