Review: Manna Kadar Glo Illuminator

Hi Guys! I hope you all are doing good..

Today I am going to review Manna Kadar Glo Illuminator with you all, which I received in Glamego Box – December 2017. This product was formerly known as Sheer Glo and can be mixed in any daily cream or foundation for a dewy look or can be used alone as a highlighter as well. It can be worn off to college, office, a meeting, an event or a glam evening.

This illuminator has pink undertones to it but I am sure it would look amazing on almost all skin tones. Manna Kadar suggests applying this product on entire body to achieve a natural healthy shimmer and apply to collar bones to have them appear more pronounced.

This shimmer lotion comes in a semi transparent, soft, silicone tube with a white, plastic screw cap. The tube was seal packed and looks classic & feminine. The packaging is sturdy, compact, light weight, mess proof and travel friendly.

Smell: Very mild, sweet, artificial

Texture and Consistency: This illuminator has a smooth and creamy texture and a very light and runny consistency.

My Experience:

This light weight illuminator has very fine shimmer particles in it and is in no way chunky or heavy. It spreads effortlessly into the skin and gets blend within seconds. I sometimes use it alone as a highlighter or sometimes mix it with my foundaiton. Honestly, I am not at all happy or satisfied with its result.

It has a very minor glow to it which I think is not what someone will look for in such a costly product. Although it is very light weight and comfortable, it does not look very appealing or amazing to me. It does add a natural glow to the skin but not a lot. I would expect a little bit more illumination even if I am going for an “all natural” or a “no makeup – makeup look”.

If you look at the swatch of my hand, you would have already got an idea how light and minimalistic the pigmentation is. I would have also appreciated it if it was yellow toned or clear because I feel it makes my skin look darker sometimes. I am someone who loves highlighting her nose and cheek bones and this kind of highlighting is not enough for me.

Even on days, when I am in an all natural look, I will have my mascara, lip balm/gloss and a highlighter on my face. Forget about a full glam look, this product will not even give you a good amount of highlighting on bare skin.

Pros of Manna Kadar Glow Illuminator:

*Doesn’t irritate skin
*Blends easily
*Smooth and creamy texture
*Doesn’t feel heavy, oily or greasy
*Doesn’t have chunky shimmer particles
*Great for all skin types
*Cruelty free

Cons of Manna Kadar Glow Illuminator:

*Doesn’t give a very satisfying result
*Not pigmented enough
*Doesn’t stay for a long time
Will I purchase it?

Not at all. I would buy eight-ten amazing and more promising highlighters in this much amount of money.
Will I recommend it?

Not at all. Even if you like to have a subtle glow going on your face, I wouldn’t recommend buying it at all.
Is it worth the money?

No. This product doesn’t work as amazingly as claimed and does not look very good on the skin, so I don’t find it worth the money.
