INTERVIEWING Sanandita Chakraverty

Hi Guys!! I hope you all are doing good..

Today I am back with another Hearty Interview and this time I am going to introduce Sanandita Chakraverty to you all and ask her few questions… Sanandita, the name in itself means “someone who can be happy with everyone around her“. And indeed, she does live to her name!

A National Law University graduate and an advocate practising before the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta, Sanandita always wanted to create a space of her own where she could pen down her thoughts. It was only in April 2017 that Tic Talk Toe, her blog was born!

Besides drafting arguments, she unwinds herself by baking and swimming. Watching makeup and nail art tutorials on youtube keeps her busy at leisure. She is also into creative writing and loves socialising with people.

So without further ado, let’s quickly ask some nice and tricky questions to her..

What do you do apart from blogging, Sanandita?

Ans. I am an Advocate by profession. I draft legal petitions and appear before the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta.

Was stepping into blogging something you always wanted or did it happen accidentally?

Ans. I always had a flair for writing, but my job kept me confined to drafting legal notices and petitions. Yet my heart always yearned for more. And then Tic Talk Toe was born. It was not an accident. Deep down, I had always wanted to write and create my little own space in the field of blogging.

So, how do you manage your married life and blogging?

Ans. Married life has actually never been a concern for blog management. In fact I had my husband’s back when I had decided to start a blog.

That’s really appreciable. What hours do you usually work?

Ans. I do not have any fixed hours of work! My office timings are from 10 a.m. to 7 30 p.m. Apart from that, I blog at my own convenience and pen down my thoughts whenever I want to. I do not get bogged down by any sort of pressure, and I let my creative ideas flow at it’s own pace.

May you always have that spirit.. What has been your most successful blog post till now?

Ans. All the ones related to wedding planning, and how I decided on my wedding look. They draw the maximum number of viewers.

Wow! That’s really good.. How did you choose your blog’s name?

Ans. Tic Talk Toe was chosen very randomly. I remember having spent 2 or 3 sleepless nights over it, sorting names, discussing with friends and checking if a domain was available. I wanted something very unique, quirky, yet unusual. I had almost finalised the name Pretty Outspoken, when Tic Talk Toe struck!

I agree with you. Sometimes we think a lot and then settle for simplest things.. Now tell me would you rather lose all your blog readers or Rs. 50,000?

Ans. Extremely tricky question, but honestly I would rather lose all my blog readers. They will come back to me for my content. It takes a lot of hard work to earn money anyway.

You really have a very realistic answer.. How do you respond when someone says something negative about you?

Ans. I take a deep breath, try and analyse the situation and if that negative comment looks genuine enough, I try and work on it. Else I move on. Who needs negativity in one’s life anyway?

Yes. You are absolutely right. By the way what is your favorite skincare brand? Why?

Ans. Josie Maran & Glam Glow. Hard to chose between the two. They have tackled my dry skin issues like nobody else has!

Okay and what are your top three tips to get beautiful and healthy hair?

Ans. a) Drink enough water, it keeps your system hydrated.
b) Never share your comb, towel, pillow cases with others and change them regularly.
c) Try and stay away from parabens, chemicals, sulphates.

Let me conclude this interview by asking who is your biggest competitor at the moment?

Ans. For this my answer shall always be I, me and myself. I am my biggest competitor. I would always seek to be better than what I was yesterday, and strive to achieve it.

So that’s it for today guys! I hope you liked this post!

I really really enjoyed interviewing Sanandita and her answers were really honest. If you also enjoyed this post, please make sure to visit Tic Talk Toe and follow the blog.. Don’t forget to follow Sanandita on Instagram as well.
