Hi Guys! I hope you’re doing good..

Today I am finally going to review Glamisha Skin Lightening Cream for you all after around two months of testing it. I have reviewed Glamisha Shampoo, Glamisha Hair Conditioner With Pro Vitamin B5 & Tea Tree Oil and Glamisha Face Wash with Mulberry & Licorice Extracts on this blog, so don’t forget to check them out…

I have been battling with acne and hedious scars they leave ever since I entered teenage and that’s the only reason why I try such products which help me in lightening my acne scars or any pigmentation.

Skin lightening products should be used to treat hyperpigmentation, sun tan, uneven skin tone, dark spots, acne scarring, freckles etc and not for getting a whiter compelexion. I have a fair skin tone and even if I had a dusky or dark skintone, I would never try to attain fairness or use skin lightening products.

Skin whitening has never been my interest and it wouldn’t be even if I was dark. If you want to know how this product worked on my problematic skin, then please keep on reading this post till the end..

Product Description: Skin Lightening Cream with Kojic Acid dipalmitate and Arbutin for a glowing, fairer complexion combination of all these ingredients has skin lightening properties, depigmentation and many more.

Cost: Rs. 975 for 100 gm

Shelf Life: 1.5 years

Availability: Glamisha’s Official Website, Shopclues, Amazon, Ebay, Flipkart

Packaging: This product’s packaging is identical to all other three products of Glamisha.. All their products look so similar and authoritative and are just distinguishable by their colors..

This cream has a green colored theme.. It comes in a cuboidal cardboard box having green detailing and all necessary product details are mentioned on it.

The product comes inside a soft, white colored tube with green detailing & a matte-black, plastic flip cap which is sturdy enough to make the packaging mess proof. The size of the tube is quite large but not very heavy.

Smell: Mild, Pleasant, Floral

Texture and Consistency: This off white colored cream has a very rich texture with a thick consistency.

My Experience:

This review is based upon my oily, acne prone and sensitive skin. Usually I cannot bear heavy creams on my face because of my oily skin. When I oozed out some product from this tube for the very first time, I was disheartened to see that it has a very thick consistency and thought it would feel heavy and uncomfortable on my face.

I went ahead and used it on my arms and legs where I have few cuts and burn marks. It felt very smooth on application just like butter and within five seconds, got completely absorbed into the skin leaving a very matte finish.

There was no shine, heaviness or even smoothness at all which makes it really suitable for oily skin. I then got the courage to use it on my face and neck as well and it got absorbed really well without feeling greasy on my face.

I apply it in gentle, circular motions wherever needed until it is completely absorbed. It’s smell is not at all overpowering and remains for around one hour.. It does not sting the skin or eyes at all and does not leave a cooling sensation too.

I have been using it for around two months now and I have tested it on almost all my scars. As for my face, I firsh wash it with Glamisha facewash and then use this cream. It does not break me out and does not irritate my existing acne.

For fresh acne scars or any kind of skin rashes, it works within four-five days and does not even require a lot of product. I recently got an allergy on my arm after shaving which led to a lot of bumps and rashes all over.

It soothed everything without feeling cold and literally got away with the scars very quickly. Since I keep on getting acne again and again, you will always find their scars too and it healed and lightened them very effectively in not more than five days.

As for old burn marks and pigmentation, it took around one and a half month but lightened them very well. I have a coin sized burn mark on my right hand for around eleven months now.. I tried every remedy and nothing worked but after using this cream regularly, I must say that the scar has lightened very nicely.

My mother’s neck is quite pigmented and it has lightened it as well but took a little longer than newer skin issues. I know nothing works overnight and I don’t mind it taking time to work on my skin. This is why I am reviewing it quite late than other three Glamisha products because I wanted to very sure of my opinion.

Pros of Glamisha Skin Lightening Cream with Kojic Acid Dipalmitate and Arbutin:

*Suitable for all skin types
*Free from preservatives and harsh chemicals
*Visibly reduces acne scars and blemishes
*Lightens skin, makes it brighter and even toned
*Reduces pigmentation
*Non greasy formula
*Doesn’t feel heavy at all
*Little amount of product required
*Quick absorption
*Works just as claimed
*Value for money

Cons of Glamisha Skin Lightening Cream with Kojic Acid Dipalmitate and Arbutin:

*Only available online

Will I purchase it?
Yes. This is a very mild skin lightening cream, does not cause breakouts, skin irritation or any kind of reaction and works nicely is reducing dark spots, dark circles, scars, pigmentation etc.

Will I recommend it?
In case you have got sun tan or you want to lighten your skin tone and make it look even toned, you should apply it on a daily basis and you will see good results. Obviously it will not lighten your skin upto five six shades but it’ll definitely make it look brighter, more even and lighter.

Is it worth the price?
It is worth the price because it works nicely without being harsh but it is quite expensive.

My Ratings: 4.5/5

Final Verdict: Overall, it is a very good cream that is totally worth buying. It may take some time to give results but it will not disappoint you. For new scars and wounds, it’s very quick in giving results but it takes little longer for old scars. Since it is very expensive, I wish a smaller quantity option was available so that people could try out how it works on their skin. I hope the brand takes my suggestion on a positive note.
