Review: Elixir Shop Acne Serum

Hi Guys!! I hope you all are doing good…

Today I am going to review the Elixir Shop Acne Serum for you all. I got this product in the April 2018 Edition of My Envy Box. Although a little late, I am finally here with my review of it. I think most of you know that I have battled with acne issues for a really long time. Some products and habits, however, helped me get rid of this long-term issue very effectively and in just a few weeks.

When I got this product in hand, I was extremely happy because of two reasons. Firstly, I needed something to combat my acne very badly and secondly, it was from the Elixir Shop which I already love. I have also reviewed the Elixir Shop Zaria Skin Brightening Serum on this blog, so don’t forget to check it out.

If you are interested in knowing how this product worked for me, will I recommend it or not, then please keep on reading this post till the end…

Product Description:

With the perfect balance of Tea Tree and Geranium essential oils, Acne Serum helps heal stubborn acne spots and reduces the prominence of the marks formed post acne. Tea Tree oil has antimicrobial properties that goes deep into the skin to unclog the pores and disinfect. Our fuss-free application is easy and instantly starts working on your acne once you start applying the serum.

*100% Natural
*Not tested on animals

Directions of Usage:

Put a few drops of the serum on a cotton bud and apply on acne spots. Use 2-3 times a day. Wait for 1 minute before using any other product.

Coconut Oil, Tea Tree, Geranium

Rs. 500 for 5 ml; Rs. 700 for 15 ml

Shelf Life:

2 years

The bottle is made up of glass which is prone to breakage which I don’t complaint. Elixirs are highly concentrated and if kept in plastic bottles, they can spill, react and permeate. However, I have to take special care with this bottle because I’m really good at dropping things. It also comes with a dropper for easier application and dispensing.

Mild, Identical to Geranium Essential Oil

My Experience:

This review is based upon my oily, acne prone, sensitive and problematic skin. First of all, I like its consistency quite a lot because it is very light and does not feel heavy or uncomfortable at all. Secondly, It doesn’t clog my pores or feel sticky in any way. The consistency is completely opposite to that of the Bio Bloom Radiance Face Oil.

I use this serum each night as the last step of my skin care routine. Furthermore, I just apply four to five drops of it and massage it on the face gently using upward circular motions. This quantity is more than enough for me. Moreover, it quickly gets absorbed into the skin. It doesn’t either feel cooling or soothing nor gives any tingling sensation. This serum just gets soaked into the deep layers of the skin without actually feeling anything.

The smell of this serum is not bothersome to my sensitive nose at all. Coming to the results, I just have to say that I can swear by this product. It is an extremely amazing formulation and a fantastic blend of ingredients that not only prevent and treat acne but also help get rid of stubborn acne spots. The results started to show up after around 12 days of using it and in around three and a half weeks, my skin was almost completely clear.

Pros of Elixir Shop Acne Serum:

*No side effects
*Little quantity required
*Long lasting
*Doesn’t make skin oily or greasy

Cons of Elixir Shop Acne Serum:

*Only available online

Will I purchase it?

Certainly yes. I am in love with this product and would definitely buy it to keep my skin acne free and flawless looking always.

Will I recommend it?

Yes. This is a very effective product and I’ll highly recommend it to everyone out there.

Is it worth the money?

Yes. It is expensive but really effective and totally worth the money.

My Ratings: 5/5

*Not a sponsored post, Product received in April 2018 Edition of My Envy Box
