Review: Mesmara Bentonite Cosmetic Clay

Hi Guys! I hope you all are doing good.

Today I am going to review Mesmara Bentonite Cosmetic Clay with you all. I have already reviewed Mesmara Dead Sea Mud, Kaolin Clay, Rose Petal Powder, Activated Coconut Charcoal Powder, Neem Powder, and Aloe Vera Powder, so don’t forget to check them out as well..

Bentonite clay has been used as a very effective remedy to pull out harmful toxins from the scalp, skin, and body. It has numerous beauty benefits and contains a lot of nutrients in it. It is a powerful combination of nature’s love and blessing that has high healing properties.

Bentonite clay has a strong negative ionic charge which allows it to attract substances that have a positive charge from the skin very easily such as harmful toxins, bad bacteria, pesticides, pathogens, and heavy metals.

If you are interested in knowing how this powder worked on me, what are its benefits, how you can bring it in use, will I recommend you to buy it or not, then please keep on reading this post till the end…

My Experience with Mesmara Bentonite Cosmetic Clay:

I have oily, acne prone and sensitive skin.. Bentonite Clay is an amazing ingredient when it comes to removing toxins from the skin without any side effects. I use this clay in several recipes but I’ll hopefully do a detailed post on different ways of using bentonite clay for skin and hair very soon…

It works very effectively alone as well. I take one teaspoon powder in a mixing bowl and add required amount of water to make a lump-free paste having a consistency identical to a foundation. I then apply a thick and even layer all over my face and neck. This clay is very powerful and healing but does not react to my sensitive skin at all. It does irritate my skin and causes no rashes or bumps.. It does not feel very cool on the skin which is why I can easily use it in winters as well..

First of all, it opens up clogged pores and draws out all impurities very effectively. It also removes whiteheads and blackheads from the skin.. It also removes excess sebum from the skin but does not disturb the natural oil balance of the skin…

It does not make skin saggy but actually tightens it without being dry. Hence, it also slows down the aging process and reduces wrinkles and fine lines.. It kills acne-causing bacteria on the skin and treats existing acne and pimples on the face. It also reduces blemishes and lightens acne scars..

Most importantly, it removes dead skin cells very effectively and quickly and makes the skin appear brighter and cleaner. It is a very healing ingredient because it encourages the renewal of skin cells.. I seriously do not need to apply a moisturizer after removing this mask as it retains moisture in my skin.

It adds a beautiful glow to the face on regular usage.. I sometimes add half teaspoon Mesmara Activated Coconut Charcoal Powder in one teaspoon Bentonite Clay and the combo works beautifully for my skin..

It not only works amazingly for my skin but also serves many purposes to my hair…

Due to its absorbing properties, it soaks in the residue buildup from scalp thus cleansing it and making the hair clean, fresh and voluminous. It also nourishes the scalp and does not make hair dry or frizzy..

Instead, it tames down frizziness and reduces split ends.. I tested it out on my cousin’s curly hair as well and it made them very soft, shiny and silky.. It also reduces scalp itching and prevents dandruff. After applying it, I skip a shampoo and conditioner very easily.

It also promotes hair growth, prevents hair fall and hair breakage.. This mask is also very beneficial in treating chronic skin conditions like eczema, acne and psoriasis.. I feel like having a very expensive hair treatment at a salon after applying it..

Pros of Mesmara Bentonite Cosmetic Clay:

*No side effects
*Often available on discounts on Amazon
*No additional ingredients
*Value for money
*Naturally derived
*Very tiny amount of product required

Cons of Mesmara Bentonite Cosmetic Clay:

*Only available online, that too just on Amazon

Will I purchase it?

Yes. I love what Bentonite Clay does works on me, especially my hair… I will definitely purchase it once I finish it off…

Will I recommend it?

Yes. This product works satisfactorily for me and I am sure it will work the same for you as well. Do your research about its benefits and if you feel like trying it, you must try it from Mesmara…

Is it worth the money?

Highly.. This is a pure bentonite clay which works just as claimed and a very little amount of product is required per application…

My Ratings: 5/5

My Advice:

Since bentonite clay absorbs impurities, do not mix it in a metal bowl or with a metal spoon. The metal reacts with this clay and destroys its healing properties.

  1. I love using clay masks as I have oily skin. This bentonite clay sounds so similar to the Indian Healing Clay that I love. I mix it with rose water and it is amazing. I have never used it on my hair. 🙂

    1. I love everything about it except it’s formulation which is always lumpy. For me, it has always always worked miraculously in healing my skin.. U must try it on hair as well. 🙂
